Turkish Tourism on the Internet

Here is a new website promoting Turkey with a special focus on tourism. The site is prepared by Serif Yenen who is an experienced tourist guide, and designed by Sinan Torunoglu. Considering that almost all the guidebooks about Turkey have been written by foreigners, and that it poses certain questions with respect to promotion of our country, Serif Yenen decided to focus his efforts in such a book, followed later by a website covering more than half of the book. Consisting of 160 pages, the site is published in English. The writer further states that it will soon be made more comprehensive. Though it addresses mostly foreign travellers, the site has been favoured by quite a number of hits since it was launched. We also believe that it is well worth visiting: http://www.turkishodyssey.com
