A Traveler's Guide to Turkey and Turkish Culture

The third stage of Turkey Promotion Project named Turkish Odyssey, which is the first guidebook ever written by a Turk, has been completed after five years of a preparation period.

Turkish Odyssey, A Traveler's Guide to Turkey and Turkish Culture, has been written in English aiming to promote Turkey to foreigners. The book found great interest both in Turkey and abroad, and some tourism companies and travelers purchased the books in great numbers in order to present them as gifts to their partners or customers.

For seven months "Turkish Odyssey" web site has been serving the worldwide internet users who wish to learn about Turkey. The site consists of 300 html pages, 500 jpg images, 65 megabyte of contents, a photo gallery grouped according to topics, interactive maps, and possibilities for online hotel and tour reservations.

The book has also been translated into Turkish and published under the title "ANADOLU DESTANI, Turkiye Gezi Rehberi" in order to meet the need from the Turkish travelers.
