Those three are the prerequisites to create a great work. As one of the most comprehensive websites on the internet, "Turkish Odyssey" has been created by two friends: Serif Yenen and Sinan Torunoglu. They worked real hard for six months, and the result is almost a perfect site about Turkey. The source of information and texts used in forming the site is the guidebook "Turkish Odyssey" written by Serif Yenen in four years.

The web design is by Sinan Torunoglu. The site has been prepared in English like the original book, and there is useful information in almost every subject ranging from history to geography, population, types of administration, natural resources, ancient and current languages, religions, architectural characteristics, mythology, archaeology, people, and folklore of Anatolia. It is also possible to make online reservations at various hotels.

There are over 450 professional photos including Yusuf Tuvi's photos on Anatolian People, helicopter shots of Nejat Demirkollu, and photos from the archives of the Ministry of Tourism and Serif Yenen.

The original maps used in web pages have been drawn by Sinan Torunoglu. The only thing that is lacking in the site in my opinion is that they could have provided more maps.
