A Native's Voice
Have you ever noticed that all the guidebooks about Turkey are written by foreigners? Thinking that those "who know the country better than us" could not promote Turkey well enough, Serif Yenen decided to write a book in his style. Turkish Odyssey by Serif Yenen based on his formation as a guide for many years is now on the market. And the Turkish translation of the original book in English is underway. Besides, a website has been prepared within his project "Promoting Turkey". For more information: www.turkishodyssey.com

The Turkish translation of Turkish Odyssey, which is the first guidebook written in English by a Turk, is on the market now. In our column, we had previously announced publishing of the original book as well. In addition to useful information in almost every subject ranging from history to geography, population, types of administration, natural resources, ancient and current languages, religions, architectural characteristics, mythology, archaeology, people, and folklore of Anatolia, the book covers information about sites worth seeing on common routes.
